A running list of milestones in Sajan’s first year. First kid stuff!
Eye tracking: Sajan started tracking us with fluidity between weeks 3 and 4.
Sleeping six hours: Sajan started sleeping six hours around the one month mark, usually from 11pm to 5am.
Consistent smiling: Sajan started smiling noticeably more during our first visit to College Station in Week 6 around Father’s Day.
Sucked his thumb: Sucked his thumb intentionally for the first time (we think) on July 25
First flight: Friday, August 29th from Austin to Denver. Cried on the way there, seamless on the way back.
First giggle: August 1st in the living room!
First roll: October 21 in the living room at home with Jeevitha. Rolled 5 times on this day by himself (!). EDIT: rolled that afternoon with nanny.
Day he met his Aunt: July 18th! She came to Austin.
First pool: July 26th in San Antonio at La Cantera in San Antonio.
First time putting himself to sleep: Thursday, September 4th in the afternoon. Sucked on his thumb and dozed off himself.
First time sleeping through the night: Friday October 3rd, the first day of sleep training. We tapped him but only once!
First time he discovered his tongue: September 20th during C3 visit to Austin.
