Though we’ve invented self-driving cars and reusable rockets, it’s still difficult to keep up with the family life of the people we love.
As our years ahead fill up with children and their early lives, we’d like to make it easy for our loved ones to peek into our world in a meaningful way — from Ammamma in India to tech friends in San Francisco.
In thinking about such a project, we wanted something private, long form, and multi-media. A space where we could be fully expressive. And something that was fully ours. So we decided to bring back the family blog, a retro idea that deserves some love. Since we couldn’t find anything out there that fit the bill, we assembled one ourselves.
In talking to parents in all stages of life, it turns out that there’s only one universal truth about the journey: it all happens so fast. By curating and sharing life’s little moments in this garden, we hope to slow it down just a notch. We’ll both be writing, and maybe even a kiddo too.
