Dear Cutie Pie, Sajan.

This is the very first note I’m writing to you, one that comes straight from my heart.

From the moment I first held you in my arms during our visit to Austin, I felt a sense of peace I’ve never known before. You didn’t say a word, but your quiet joy and gentle presence spoke volumes. Watching your every movement, your curious eyes, your little smiles, transported me to a place where nothing else mattered. In those moments, I forgot the world. You reminded me of what truly matters in life: love, connection, and legacy.

I often find myself imagining the adventures we’ll share together: taking walks, telling stories, reading books, maybe even planting something in the garden side by side. I can’t wait to show you the stars, which I know nothing about but your Ajji knows a lot, and hear your questions about the world. You’ve already brought a sense of wonder into my life, and I look forward to watching you grow, learn, and explore the world with your unique spirit.

Your name, Sajan, means beloved and indeed, you are deeply loved. You’ve brought a rare calm and happiness to our entire family. I have no doubt that you will carry that peace forward in everything you do. Raised by two remarkable parents, Varun and Pranitha, who embody honesty, respect, and integrity, you are surrounded by values that will shape you into an exceptional human being.

My hope for you is simple yet profound: stay grounded in those core values. Be kind. Be curious. Be courageous. Let your challenges become your teachers, and never let go of compassion, even when the world seems uncertain. Surround yourself with people who uplift you and stay close to the family and friends who cherish you for who you are.

You are my first grandson, Sajan and with your arrival, a new chapter of hope and love began for me. I will always be here, quietly cheering you on, soaking in your journey with the same joy I felt the first time I saw you.

With all my love,
Bhimu Ajju (Grandfather)
